Brownian Motion

Brownian Motion is the random jittering motion of particles suspended in fluid.

Albert Einstein gave a theoretical treatment that linked the effect to molecular motion, which became major evidence for atoms being physically real.

It is a nice example of "small-scale physics inferred from noisy macroscopic behavior."
